The big journey
On a Tuesday afternonn Lucy found a letter in the post from her boyfriend. In the letter, he briefly explained that he was breaking up with him.
She sat in the room and Lucy cried, thinking about what to do next. After a short thought, he realized he had to travel. The next day his mother bought a ticket to Rome. He went to the airport and it rained. He waited sadly at the airport because it was still two hours before takeoff. Arriving in Rome, he was surprised because he could not find his bag, so he went to the hotel without a bag. Arriving at the hotel, he noticed that the hotel was closed, so he fell asleep on the street in the evening. The next morning he was picked up by the hotel receptionist, who helped escort him to his room. Lucy went to bed immediately and just slept until the next morning. He woke up early because one of the bellboy people brought the missing package, which he was very happy about. After receiving his luggage, he lay back to sleep. In the morning he took the metro to the Coliseum because the stop is here. He even looked at the Roman Forum, where he saw old ancient columns. He found many more interesting sights in the city. In one of the museums, a man accompanied Lucy.
The next day they left for the airport together. They could hardly wait to get home and announce the big news.
