Parties are literally held for other people's entertainment. We can differentiate tons of party but each of them is for fun. We can talk about: pool party, birthday party, surprise party, dinner party and so on. During parties we have several options to choose from like: drinking, having sex, playing games, dancing, etc. In hungary we usually have house-parties and disco. Many people say that there's no party without alcohol but i disagree. Why couldn't people feel themselves well without alcohol? That's nonsense. A party is not necessarily a private occasion. Public parties are sometimes held in restaurants, pubs, beer gardens, nightclubs or bars, and people attending such parties may be charged an admission fee by the host. Large parties in public streets may celebrate events such as Mardi Gras or the signing of a peace treaty ending a long war.
